Where: Peterson Elementary School Gym
When: begin at 7:50 am and will end at 8:50 am. A supervisor will be in the gym, ready to begin instruction at 7:50 am -- NOT BEFORE. PLEASE DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILDREN OFF EARLY!


Please be sure that you want the dates carefully. Sometimes a day and / or week may be skipped during the intramural. If your child arrives on a non-intramural day, you will be required to come back and pick them up.
Parents are responsible for transportation to intramural.
Students must have returned a permission slip sent home via backpack before the the first scheduled date.

Where: Peterson Elementary LMC
When: Wednesdays right after school on scheduled days.  Club ends promptly at 5:00 pm. 

October: 18, 25

November: 1, 8, 15, 29

December:  6, 13

Please be sure that you look at the dates carefully. Sometimes a week may be skipped from one club date to another. If your child stays after school on a non-intramural day, you will be required to pick them up from the office.

Parents are responsible for picking up their children at 5:00 p.m. at the front door (Door #1).

Students should enter through Door #1 and meet on the stage.
Students should not be dropped off any earlier than the start time.  This is to ensure that there is a supervisor ready for instruction.

Meetings are scheduled from 3:35-5:00 on the following days:

Student Council

Peterson School Student Council is a large group comprised of fifth grade students. This group meets on scheduled Wednesdays after school until 5:00 pm. Mrs. Domas, Mrs. Grahn and Mrs. Mueller meet and plan activities with students during this time.


Their pledge:

To do their best in supporting and serving our school by creating a positive and caring environment and supporting the community we live in.


As members of student council, students have agreed to try their best to set good examples to all Panthers through their words and actions. They are committed to attend meetings and work cooperatively, considering each other’s ideas and always respecting each other.

These are determined by Mrs. Mueller and Mrs. Domas.  Information was sent home via backback with this information and the remaining dates for the year are listed at the top of this page.


Dismissal Information

Due to darkness and heavy traffic patterns, the following changes will be made to Student Council dismissal procedures:   

Student Council members will be dismissed at 5:00. Dismissal procedures will follow the same guidelines established for our 3:35/afternoon car pickup.

·         Students will exit the gym (door # 11 ) and wait alongside the building.  This is on the west end of the building in the staff parking lot.

·         Please pull your vehicle past the doors to allow more children a safer and quicker access for loading. 

·         Students are only to enter cars on the passenger side and are not permitted to walk in-between cars or cross the road during dismissal. 
Our utmost concern is safety; however, we hope these changes will also expedite this process. 

If your child needs to leave early, you will need to enter the building and sign my student out with the staff members who monitor Student Council.  Arrangements for early dismissal must be made in advance by notifying the leaders by email or phone.
